In this our
third year, we have aimed to increase the range and depth of the
course provision to cover virtually all the course recommendations
and suggestions received during our initial consultation with
residents. Poynton now has one of the best local daytime education
provisions in the county, something we should be very proud of. This
has been achieved through strong partnership support from the County
Council & Macclesfield College. The provision is aimed at all
adults over the age of 19 covering subjects of interest to parents
with children at school and the retired and elderly. We are also
introducing a few evening classes for those who work. You could
start by joining an introductory or beginner course with ourselves
and then move on to an accredited course through our partners
Macclesfield college if you wish to progress a subject further.
