STATEMENT OF LEARNER ENTITLEMENTS & OPPORTUNITIES.

 

“CHOICES” want to ensure that you receive high quality learning provision. To help you and us achieve this, your entitlements and responsibilities are set out below:

 

                                        

LEARNER ENTITLEMENTS:

 

You will be entitled to:

·                    Free and accurate information on courses/training available.

·                    Information on, and access to, relevant qualifications and other opportunities for

            progression.

·                    Clear information on the way your course will be organised, to include attendance

            times, holidays, what to do if you cannot attend or wish to make a complaint.

·                    Receive regular information on how you are progressing throughout your learning

            goals for the programme.

·                    Have any written coursework marked and feedback given promptly.

·                    Have opportunities for you to give your views about the way in which your course is

            developing.

·                    A final end of course evaluation on completion of your chosen course.

·                    Equality of opportunity in all aspects of your learning experience.

·                    Be taught by tutors who are competent in the subject/area of the programme.

·                    Learn in a safe environment.

·                    Have your learning programme managed and co-ordinated effectively and

            appropriately.

·                    Have any complaints that you wish to make handled quickly and sympathetically.

 

 

LEARNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

As a learner, you will be expected to:

·                    Attend and study regularly

·                    Tell us of any unavoidable absences in good time.

·                    Complete work on time and with effort shown in attaining the required standard.

·                    Adhere to health & Safety procedures with regards to equipment, buildings and other

            people.

·                    Behave responsibly and safely.

·                    Not use any language that may give offence to others.

·                    Make a positive commitment to your programme and to your own personal

            development.

·                    Make contributions where ever possible to help enable future development of the

            curriculum and improve the services on offer.
