PURPOSE STATEMENT.

To assure a wide range of enriching learning programmes, reflecting the aspirations and needs of all adults within Poynton & surrounding areas, by providing opportunities  for personal development and social inclusion.

LEADING.

1. Set priorities and strategic direction for Adult and Community learning in Poynton to meet local needs.

2. Secure and develop a broad range and breadth of learning available to all adults within the Poynton area that meet social, cultural and economic need.

3. Work with and support our partner learning providers in developing high quality adult and community learning within the Poynton area.

4. Work with and support our partner learning providers in developing quality information about learning in accessible forms.

LISTENING.

5. Listen to our learners, partners and funders to ensure we provide a responsive and dynamic curriculum that is fit for purpose.

6. Measuring the impact of learning and planning improvements.

7. Recognising and celebrating achievement of learners.

LEARNING.

8.Provide enriching and challenging programmes that meet the aspirations of individuals.

9. Ensure progression opportunities are built into the curriculum wherever possible.

10. To offer routes to accredited courses via our partnerships.
